The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA) Chapter 28-3 and the Fort Rucker Buffalo Soldiers MC presented a check for $4000 to the Wiregrass Wounded Veterans Committee (WWVC). The two organizations raised the funds to help with the construction of a dock and fishing pier for disabled veterans. This dock is being built adjacent to the Wounded Warriors Retreat Cabin on Ft. Rucker. Conrad Stemple, Otis Smith, and Tim Laster, representatives of WWVC, received the generous contribution on Tuesday, June 25th, at the Wounded Warrior Retreat on Lake Tholocco.
Sam Boswell Honda, community and business member of WWVC, conducted it's bi-annual Flag Retirement Ceremony on June 14, 2018, Flag Day.
“These are the guardians of our freedom, our beacons of hope and liberty,” said O’Neal Boswell. “And they never asked to be called anything other than ‘soldier’ or ‘civilian.’ But to us, they are heroes. Today and always, we celebrate those army heroes. Thank you for coming out and helping us celebrate our country, celebrate those who serve our country and celebrate our beautiful flag.”

Enterprise Lions Club has given over $81, 000 to date to local charitable organizations.
"The motto of Lions Club is 'We Serve' and we would like that message to get out and encourage all people who would like to serve with us to come join us. This is a once a year event; but, we serve all year." Charles Seitz, Treasurer
Mark Moser, an incoming member of WWVC, spoke at the Enterprise Lions Club's weekly program on September 26, 2018, about Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
“The combat vets are really just a group of disparate guys and gals who like to ride motorcycles as a hobby,” Moser said. “We’ve got all branches involved in it.” The motto of the organization is “vets helping vets.” Each chapter, and the organization as a whole, supports local vets and their needs. “We do that by helping focus on taking care of veteran facilities—especially places that provide shelter and food and clothes,” Moser said. “We also get involved with guidance if we can give it or finding someone who can. Sometimes it’s just saying, ‘Thank you and welcome home.”’
